Player Name: Daryl Shaw
Position: CB
Height: 5-9
Weight: 180
Comments: CB Daryl Shaw(Wake Forest) and most recently of the Carolina Speed (AIFA) was scouted and recruited to the Speed by the Indoor Football Scouting Bureau and Pro Personnel Director ,Ken Robinson...on Wed.,May 2nd,2007 Shaw was signed to the practice squad of the Georgia Force(AFL)...
Team: Odessa Roughnecks(IFL) to Dallas Desperados (AFL)
Player Name: Johnny Tyson
Position: WR
Height: 6-0
Weight: 170
Comments: IFL to AFL: Assigned by the Indoor Football Scouting Bureau and its Operations Manager/Scout Jared Lane to Coach Chris Williams and the Odessa Roughnecks (IFL) in 2007, Coach Williams lobbied for the Dallas Desperados (AFL) and Coach Will McClay to bring Johnny in on a 2 day waiver...Coach McClay liked what he saw of Tyson's size/speed combination and extended him an invite to training camp. Blessed with true low 4.4 speed Johnny is a deep threat vs most pro indoor DB's and certainly would have challenged for a roster spot with Dallas but unfortunately an injuy in Desperados camp will have Johnny sent back down to Odessa for continual rehab in an efforts to get back on the field in 2007.
Team: TN Valley Vipers (af2) to Austin Wranglers (AFL)
Player Name: Akarika Dawn
Position: ILB
Height: 6-0

Team: Bloomington Extreme (UIF) to Hamilton Tiger Cats (CFL)
Player Name: Quince Holman
Position: DE
Height: 6-3
Weight: 255
Comments: UIF to CFL:Quince Holman was an underated DE from Northern Illinois listed as the 67th best DE on the 2006 NFL Draft Board. After going unsigned by the NFL after the major rookie free agent signing period in May he joined several of his teammates with the expansion Bloomington Extreme of the United Indoor Football Association (UIF)... The first year Head Coach for the Extreme, Ted Schmitz, is a former CFL coach with the Hamilton Tiger Cats and has also served as a scout with the Canadian team. When the Indoor Football Scouting Bureau was hired by Bloomington in November 2006 to assist Coach Schmitz with his personnel we notified him that Hamilton was looking for a DE that we thought Quince could be a candidate for. Because their was a shakeup in the Ticats front office after the 2006 season the coach wasn't yet 100% informed of team needs or who exactly would be making up the Player Personnel staff and what their duties would. Through a good connection the Indoor Football Scouting Bureau had learned early of positions that Hamilton was looking very closely at and informed Coach Schmitz who immediately put a call in to the organization to send film on Quince....After seeing Holman's pass rush ability on tape, Hamilton took Coach's recommendation and signed Quince shortly after and invited him to their May 2007 training camp..., TiCats sign on the DLine ..., 2006 NFL Scouting Report
Team: TN Valley Vipers (af2) to Berlin Thunder (NFLE)
Player Name: Quartez Vickerson
Position: DT
Height: 6-5
Weight: 269
Comments: College: Pro: Another player from one of Coach Willams team to have an opportunity with a higher level league after the pro indoor season and the 2nd one of his players to be signed by the Berlin Thunder , joining QB Walter Washington... 2007 Berlin Thunder Profile
Team: Odessa Roughnecks (IFL) to Kansas City Brigade (AFL)
Player Name: Andre Burns
Position: CB
Height: 6-0
Weight: 190
Comments: Assigned by the Indoor Football Scouting Bureau and Pro Personnel Director, Ken Robinson to Coach Mike Esposito and the Odessa Roughnecks of the Intense Football League (IFL). After the departure of Espo , Burns continued showing signs of developing into a fine Arena/Indoor CB once Chris Williams took over. Williams' relationship with Coach Kevin Porter of the Brigade helped open the doors when Porter called Williams to inquire of Andre.
Team: TN Valley Vipers (af2) to Kansas City Brigade (AFL)
Player Name: Stan Primus
Position: OG
Height: 6-4
Weight: 315
Comments: Assigned by the Indoor Football Scouting Bureau to Coach Chris Williams and the TN Valley Vipers (af2)
Team: Pt.Huron Pirates (GLIFL) to San Jose Sabercats (AFL)
Player Name: Tyler Moore
Position: OG
Height: 6-6
Weight: 305
Comments: GLIFL to AFL: .. Tyler was scouted by Ken Robinson when Robinson was a member of the Ottawa Renegades (CFL) scouting staff....,when the team's season was canceled they had yet to offer Tyler a contract leaving him as a free agent and allowing the Indoor Football Scouting Bureau to recruit and evaluate him for other AFL & CFL teams him while playing on one of its pro indoor teams..., however Tyler decided to sign with a non contracted team in Pt.Huron of the 1st year GLIFL where he went on to earn OLineman of the year honors.....After the season , however, he hadnt received the interest from AFL teams like he had expected so we decided to make some calls and email film to some of our contacts about Moore ...This lead to Robinson speaking with the Player Personnel assistant with the San Jose Sabercats (AFL) and Tyler was extended a personal invite to an OL/DLine camp where 2 contracts were to be offered...,Tyler got himself to San Jose and secured one of the two OLine spots and a 2 year contract with an invite into Sabercats training camp...., College:Purdue Bio Pro:2005-(NFL)-Baltimore Ravens 2006-(GLIFL)-Port Huron Pirates 2007-(AFL )-San Jose Sabercats , T-Bone inks deal with Sabercats 2005 NFL Draft Board:2005 NFL Scouting Report
Team: TN Valley Vipers (af2) / Odessa Roughnecks (IFL) to Berlin Thunder (NFLE)
Player Name: Walter Washington
Position: QB
Height: 6-2
Weight: 235
Comments: IFL to NFLE:..Walter Washington was scouted by Jared Lane and recruited to the TN Valley Vipers (af2) by Head Coach Chris Williams... A player with his athletic ability will always generate interest from Pro scouts teams . We knew he just needed to get back on the radar screen while working within a team structure and system. This would provide the NFL & NFLE scouts the updated info they would need to help justify his recommendation over a QB coming right out of college. 2005 NFL Draft Scouting Report
Team: Evansville BlueCats (UIF) to Winnipeg Blue Bombers (CFL)
Player Name: Tommy Manus
Position: WR
Height: 6-4
Weight: 228
Comments:
Team: Billings Outlaws (UIF) to Grand Rapids Rampage(AFL)
Player Name: Stephanol Santos
Position: OG
Height: 6-3
Weight: 308
Comments: NIFL to AFL: Stephanol Santos was an Offensive lineman from Saginaw Valley St who was rated #78 amongst OG's on the 2006 Draft board according to www.NFLDraftscout.com . When the April 2006 draft had passed without Stephanol hearing his name called it was a disappointment because of all the hard work he had put into football but he wasnt totally surprised since it was where most Draft board experts had projected him to go... Santos figured it might even work out better as a free agent becuause he could target the NFL teams whose biggest need is to upgrade their offensive lines.... Our Operations Manager/National Scout, Jared Lane continued tracking all of the recent free agent activity and with Santos still unsigned a few weeks after the Draft he decided to call and offer him a player's contract with the eventual league Champion Billings Outlaws . This would get him acclimated to pro indoor football and also get himself some updated football film.... The valuable indoor experience he'd receive would give him a good idea of what to expect in AFL camps next winter and provide him the confidence of a clearer mind so he could react and play instead of over thinking his assigments....We know Stephanol still has work to do and we're not sure that he is AFL ready just yet or how long he will last with Grand Rapids but it's safe to say that if he hadn't gotten that early pro indoor experience he might not have been a guy that would have warranted even a 2 day waiver from some AFL teams....We always want to give the credit to the players when they sign with higher leagues because they definitely deserve the credit for all the hard work they put in ,but it is nice to know that in some way we were able to guide a player in the right direction so his hard work and development would not go unnoticed...We wish Stephanol the best with the Grand Rapids Rampage.
Team: Evansville BlueCats(UIF) to Nashville Kats (AFL)
Player Name: Demoine Adams
Position: DE
Height: 6-2
Weight: 250
Comments: UIF to AFL:..Pro Personnel Director , Ken Robinson was contacted by Demoine's agent,Garriet Blair when Ken was still scouting for the Ottawa Renegades (CFL). Immediately remembering Demoine from Nebraska we were definitely interested in evaluating him for a couple of months and recommended the Evansville BlueCats (UIF) where Adams could play the run as well as the pass and show NFL teams he wasnt a liablility vs the run....Demoine made an immediate impact from day one and Ken thought there was a good chance to get him a serious look with Ottawa when they got into the area... Unfortunately the team's season was canceled and Demoine had missed some game-time due to injury but when the UIF season had concluded the AFL Nashville Kats were very interested in retaining his services so they signed him into training camp... Although Demoine is currently on IR mending a minor injury and hoped to be activated to the regular season roster soon...
Team: Wyoming Cavalry (NIFL) to Calgary Stampeders (CFL)
Player Name: JR Ruffin
Position: CB
Height: 6-0
Weight: 178
Comments: NIFL to CFL: Recommended by Jared Lane to Wyoming Cavalry (NIFL) Defensive Coordinator, Heron O'Neal who was a former NFL & AFL Defensive back. We knew JR had incredible speed (sub 4.4/40) and was an exceptional kick returner but believed the reason he was bypassed in the 2005 NFL Draft was because he wasn't refined enough as a DB and needed to work on technique..was somewhat stiff in the hips, ran with too much of an upright style and needed to get a little lower with better positioning and balance in his back pedal..... College: Univ. Of Idaho 2005 NFL Draft Board Prospect: , NFL Scouting Report: , Pro: 2005-Joined Wyoming for last 1 1/2 months of season and did not receive any NFL tryouts that summer and after not being offered by an AFL team in the winter he decided to return to Wyoming where he could also play offense... 2006:Received invite into Calgary Stampeders (CFL) mini camp in April 2006 and impressed the staff enough to receive official training camp invite in May...We knew JR had the speed to contribute on special teams but believe the work with the Coach Heron and learning to defend against forward motion gave Ruffin the extra edge he needed to outlast the competition. Ruffin went on to enjoy a most memorable 1st year in Canada as he was named Calgary's Most Outstanding Rookie while leading the entire CFL in kickoff returns , & yards and scored the only Kickoff return for TD in CFL in 2006...Ruffin also had 42 tackles and 1 Int on Defense... The Indoor Football Scouting Bureau wishes JR nothing but the best and hope his true story will inspire other players to give pro indoor a shot ...If you can play and are standing out above the competition you will get noticed and have your oppty...
