Lestini Group Certified Sports Management 2010 9th Annual National Pro Football Free Agent Tryout Camp will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the University of South Alabama (Mobile), during Senior Bowl Week.
Homewood Suites will be the official camp headquarters. Check in time is 9:00a.m. and the camp will begin at 10:00a.m. No registrations will be accepted on Sunday.

Registration will begin at 9:00 AM and the tryout will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. Participants should pre-register online at www.columbuslions.net by clicking on the tryout link on the home page. The pre-registration fee is $40.00 and should be in the form of a check or money order and mailed to the Lions office at 400 4th Street, Columbus, GA 31901. Registration the day of the tryout will be $55.00 and will only be accepted in the form of cash or money order (no checks will be accepted).
Participants should wear athletic shorts, tennis shoes or cleats for a field turf grass surface. No metal cleats will be permitted. T-shirts will be provided by the Lions to all participants.
The Lions finished the 2009 season 12-4 and were the Southern Division Champions. They head into 2010 returning two-time Defensive Player of the Year, Damian Daniels, who was discovered at an open tryout. “These tryouts are a great way to discover new talent,” said Head Coach Jason Gibson, “Atlanta is a hot bed for football talent which led us to the area.” Gibson hopes to sign a few players based on the talent level. “With Columbus being 90 miles from Atlanta and the success I had this past season signing players that lived in Atlanta like Carlos Martinez, Troy Bergeron, and Eric Johnson, holding a tryout up there is a no brainer.”

Due to a high volume of requests, the three-time ArenaBowl champion San Jose SaberCats will hold its second offseason open player tryout at the Tualatin Hills Parks & Rec. Center (Field #1) on Sunday, December 14. The tryout is for players of all positions except for kickers. The tryout, which is open to players not currently enrolled in college or who have exhausted their eligibility, will be similar in format to Standard Football Combine protocol. The day-long session will begin with registration at 8 a.m. and workouts starting promptly at 9 a.m. The Tualatin Hills Parks & Rec. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2008 – SPOKANE SHOCK
NOTES: The Spokane Shock they will be holding an open tryout for prospective players on November 1st in Seattle. The event will be held at the University of Washington’s indoor practice facility, the Dempsey Center, and will begin at 10 AM. This will be the first tryout the Shock have held in Seattle since the inception of the franchise. The cost of the try-out is $50, for those who pre-register, and $75 at the door. The playing surface for the tryout is turf and prospective players are asked to dress appropriately with athletic shoes, shorts and a t-shirt; all other equipment will be provided by the Shock. NOTES: The expansion Milwaukee Iron will be holding their first open tryout on Saturday, November 1 at the Brookfield Indoor Soccer Complex at 19485 W. Lisbon Road in Brookfield, Wisc. from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. All football players who are at least 18 years old as of November 1, 2008 are invited to register and participate, regardless of perceived skill level. All players will receive a shot a chasing their dream and being on the field opening day in March of 2009 at the Bradley Center. Offensive and defensive linemen, fullbacks, and linebackers will register between 7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Quarterbacks, wide receivers and defensive backs register from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Milwaukee Iron Head Coach and Director of Football Operations Gary Compton is running the combine in combine two phases. Players will run a 40-yard dash, do the broad jump, and hustle through the 15-yard shuttle run. Players will also have their individual skills tested in a one-on-one session with the coaching staff. Players must provide their own turf shoes and appropriate football practice attire. Each athlete will receive their times and a t-shirt at the conclusion of the combine. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2008 – CENTRAL VALLEY COYOTES
NOTES: The Central Valley Coyotes will be holding their first open tryout on Saturday, December 6th in Fresno, Calif. at 12:00 pm at the Velocity Sports Performance facility. Registration for the workout will begin at 12:00 pm and conclude at 12:50 pm. The workout will begin at 1:00 pm. Attire for the tryout will be shorts or sweats, tee shirts or sweat shirts. Participants must bring both shoes for indoor testing and cleats for outdoor testing. The first part of the testing will be indoors and players will be tested in the 40 yard dash, a 3 Cone L Drill, the bench press (225 x max reps), the vertical jump, and the 20 yard short shuttle. No screw-ins or no molded spikes will be allowed in the Velocity Training Center. The second portion of the tryout, weather permitting, will be conducted at Hoover High School. When testing is done at Velocity, the group will head outdoors to continue with position specific drills and 1 on 1’s. Hoover High School is directly across the street from the Velocity facility. Cleats will be needed for this portion of the tryout.

The Peoria Pirates coaching staff announces they will be holding open tryouts for those individuals wanting to be part of the team for the 2009 season. The tryout is open to any athlete, especially kickers, interested in playing for the Peoria Pirates of the arenafootball2 (af2) league.
Tryouts will be held Saturday, October 18th in Pekin, Illinois at the Pekin Dragon Dome located at 3401 Griffin Avenue, an indoor turf field. Participants are encouraged to wear shorts, t-shirts, molded or screw in cleats (no track spikes). Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with tryouts beginning immediately after. The most notable tryout signing is former University of Oklahoma athlete, Howard Duncan, who was assigned to the Yard Dawgz in 2005. Duncan is now on the active roster for the Columbus Destroyers of the Arena Football League and started all 16 regular season games for the Destroyers in 2008 and 2007.
Coach McEwen is committed to helping players advance to the next level and has seen numerous players succeed in the AFL and NFL. Following the 2008 season, Yard Dawgz OL Kelly Butler was invited to training camp for the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals.
“This is our first step in building our 2009 championship team,” said Head Coach Sparky McEwen. “We are excited about the quality of talent that we will be able to evaluate from.”
The Yard Dawgz compete within the arenafootball2 league with regular season games being played April through July in downtown Oklahoma City.

COLUMBUS, OH - The Columbus Destroyers will hold an open tryout at the Destroyers Practice Facility, located at 6124 Busch Boulevard , Columbus , OH 43229 , from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. Participants will have the opportunity to display their talents to the Destroyers’ coaching staff with a chance for a spot on the 2009 Training Camp roster.
Players interested in participating in the tryout will want to fill out the pre-registration form. Cost is $65 (pre-registered, registration form filled out and faxed in before Oct. 2) and $75 (walk-up, registration form filled out at the door on Oct. 4).

The playoff guaranteed Arizona Rattlers announced the team’s second off-season open tryout today. The event, which any player can attend, will take place on Saturday, January 19th, 2008, at Alamo Stadium in San Antonio , Texas .
Head Coach Kevin Guy and staff will be on the field evaluating all the potential new Rattlers. The team will be working out all positions except for kickers.
Registration will begin at 12pm that day, with the workout lasting until about 5pm. Participants will pay a registration fee of $80 (cash only) on the day of the workout to attend. However, players can pre-register at a discounted rate of $60 (payable by credit card) by calling 956-843-5658 up to the day before the workout.
In the event of rain, the tryout will proceed as scheduled.
The entire tryout will take place on field turf at Alamo Stadium. Not to be confused with the Alamo Dome, Alamo Stadium is located at 760 Stadium Drive ; San Antonio , Texas 78216 . The 23,000 seat facility was built in 1940 and has a rich football tradition. The San Antonio Gunslingers of the USFL made their home there in 1984-85, and the stadium has also hosted the Alamo Bowl.

The Arizona Rattlers will hold open tryouts on Sunday, November 18 at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. 2nd Annual Arena Football League Combine
Last June, MSL Sports headed to Las Vegas for the first ever Arena Football League Combine. With a number of top-flight athletes gaining exposure, the event was considered a huge success.
On July 28, the spotlight will fall on New Orleans for the 2nd Annual Arena Football League Combine, which will be held at the New Orleans Saints’ practice facility in Metairie, Louisiana.
This combine is being held in conjunction with Arena Bowl XXI. All AFL teams had coaches in attendance at last year’s event as were representatives from various NFL teams.
“Last year, we saw so many quality football players who attended the event,” said MSL Partner Chuck Muncie. “I think what will happen this year is through word of mouth, we will have several other standout athletes who missed out last year.”
A PERSONAL WEBSITE
Each athlete who participates in the combine will receive his own personal website. Upon registering for the combine, athletes will be given a username and password to access their website.
Once the combine is complete, each athlete will have the ability to promote themselves by sending their website link with combine statistics, video, and digitized game film to agents and professional leagues around the globe.
“It’s a combination that we use with our high school athletes,” Muncie explained. “Kids get the chance to send schools to their website to see what they are all about.”
“ At this level, the players can forward their websites to agents as well as NFL, CFL and arena teams across the country,” Muncie added.

2007 FOOTBALL TRYOUTS
The thirteen (13) – time CFL Grey Cup Champion Edmonton Eskimos will host their first open tryout for the 2007 season on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida.
The Eskimos will give football players a chance to earn a spot on their training camp roster when Head Coach and Director of Football Operations Danny Maciocia, Offensive Coordinator and Associate Head Coach Jacques Chapdelaine, Defensive Coordinator Rick Campbell and Manager of Football and Canadian Scouting Dan Mckinnon will be scouting the one-day tryout for the next defensive back, linebacker, lineman, receiver and running back.

WHAT: OPEN PLAYER TRYOUTS
WHEN: TUESDAY, March 6, 2007
Registrations will begin at 1 p.m.
WHERE: One Citrus Bowl Place, Orlando, Florida

All attending players must be at least 18 years of age and should come dressed in workout attire with shoes appropriate for turf and grass fields. Each attendee will be put through a series of tests to measure speed, agility and skills. The workout will include, but not be limited to, running a 40-yard dash and various agility tests. These tests will be followed with offensive and defensive position drills. Participants are encouraged to bring their own water and if athletes need to be taped they will be required to do so on their own.

NASHVILLE— The Nashville Kats of the Arena Football League will hold a free agent tryout on Sunday, January 21st, 2007 at Rice University’s Rice Stadium located at 6100 Main St. Houston, TX. 77005. Participants are advised to park in Lot 1.The session will begin with registration at 12:00 Noon and will go to 3:30 p.m.

The 6th Annual National Pro Football Free Agent Tryout Camp will be held Sunday, January 21, 2007 at the Uiversity of South Alabama in Mobile. The camp is being held the first weekend of the Senior Bowl Week when coaches and scouts are available to attend. The tryouts are sponsored by the Lestini Group,certified sports management.It does not include kickers
and punters.
Preregistration is $95.00 and late registration $105.00 by cashiers check only. To attend this camp your college eligibility must be completed if you played college ball.They have received many inquiries from athletes who have advised them they were referred by our scouts at the Indoor Football Scouting Bureau and information on our web site www.ifsbfreeagents.com . They would like to advise the athletes to send or fax their registration form early, this will reserve a roster position for the 2007 camp. You can make your payment at a later date or when you arrive at the camp. This will also guarantee your $95.00 camp fee, no late charges. If you send the fee in advance and cannot make the camp they will refund the money.
We highly recommend this tryout camp.They are honest, and if you have the talent, they'll have the scouts and coaches there ready to talk business.We recommend this camp as we have worked with Lestini Group for several years.It has placed a lot of players into pro indoor teams, Canadian League teams, Arena League and European teams.Players are asked bring a profile and a and a 5/8 minute highlight tape if possible.

The cost is $40 if you pre-register with the BlueCats office. It is $50 if you show up the day of the event. If you want to pay with a credit card you must pre-pay at the Evansville BlueCats office. On the day of the try-out only cash or money order will be accepted. Registration begins at 8am and the try-out will begin at 9am. Athletes will be weighed/measured, tested in the 10 yard dash, 40 yard dash, pro shuttle, verticle jump, and position specific evaluations. The Lehigh Valley Outlawz Professional Football team playing in the CIFL invites all players with football experience to come and tryout for our 2007 team.
You will be presented a written Wonderlic test, tested in the 10/40/Shuttle/225lb Bench/Long Jump/Vertical Jump/Timed Pushups and evaluated in individual skills.
There will be NO contact. A waiver and application form are required at signups. Please dress appropriately for a tryout, the facility is Turf.
Please bring any film and your bio. You will be videotaped and photographed at this event.
Games start in March and pay scale ranges from $100/week to $1000 wk based upon experience and abilities. |

The San Jose SaberCats Tryout Camp for all positions will be held in Portland, OR at Griswold Stadium on the campus of Lewis and Clark College
Event Overview:
